im learning how to operate all the things on my 7500 aiw. everything works fine except, when i record a tv show i dont get any sound when i play it back. the sound works fine when im watching tv and everything else. any info would help

Can you hear the TV when you are capturing though? Make sure your line-input isn't muted, and that you have the line-in checked in the record properties of the volume control. I have gotten into the habit of leaving the volume control minimized to the task bar, so that I can check my inputs.

Also make sure you have the AIW properly connected to your soundcard, externally using the line-out of the multigang output dongle of the Radeon into the line-in of your soundcard...or internally using the CD-ROM audio connection into the Radeon's internal connector and then into the CD audio input of your soundcard.
