I received a BestBuy 10% off coupon in my snailmail yesterday, for the upcoming weekend. If anyone else did as well (obviously someone else did) and the $299 price holds out on the 9800Pro there, you'll get it cheaper.

That's how I picked mine up (with the last 10% off that ended 11/26), although I believe I'm going to end up taking it back. Not impressed, as usual... with the ATI product/drivers/compatability (all three, as opposed to my Quattro). This was the last try. Now I know to stick it out for the next Nvidia card. The 9800Pro was great if I enjoyed random lockups or crashes to my desktop during gaming. :|

Don't forget, many people have already received the coupons for this weekend as well, another 10% make the 9800 Pro. a very attractive buy at BB this weekend. $269. I am ready to bite at that price!

If you didn't get a 10% off coupon, you can also try PMing at Circuit City, who is selling the card for $399. Should be easy.

Your name made me crack up. Brought back fun memories, too!

I have a 9700 Pro AIW I picked up at the ATI auction, no problems or crashes yet.

Dang! I picked up the 9800 Pro from BB last weekend. Then received the 10% off coupon. Ah well. No lockups or incompatibilities for me on Win2k.
