Radeon 9800 Pro

I'm thinking of upgrading the GPU in my Gigabyte GA 7ZXE mobo to a Radeon 9800 Pro. However, the 9800 is an 8X AGP card and my mobo only supports 1X, 2X, and 4X.

Will the 9800 run in my existing mobo?

Will the 9800 run slower in mine?

For the Radeon 9800 Pro:

1) Will there be a substantial difference between 128MB and 256MB of video RAM?

2) Which would you recommend:

a) a Sapphire Radeon 9800 Pro w/128MB, Open Box buy from NewEgg.com for $75 w/S&H, or
b) a Chiefmax Radeon 9800 Pro w/256MB, brand new retail from eBay (99.1% positive feedbacks) for $90 w/S&H?

In that GPU, it is not very important the quantity of the RAM but the quality does 😉 So, i will prefer option a) Sapphire

In my opinion, one of the best company for ATi GPU's is Sapphire, so, go on with that GPU, but you must know that that GPU does not support PS3.0

Pixel shader 3.0 is not important unless you are a serious gamer.

Shader Model 3.0, Pixel Shader 3.0 ... everything related with effects in the latest games that you won't enjoy.
