Radeon 9800 pro under $160??!!

Hi, I just checked pricewatch, and saw this is it a real 9800 pro? and if so, then how can it be so low price, and why is the 9700 pro more expenssive. Me is confused :)
please advice..

Nope, not a real 9800 Pro. First of all, the core/memory speed is a dead giveaway: 380/300. The usual is 380/340.

But it gets much worse. It's a crippled card because if you read further you see the memory:

128MB (DDR) - 128-Bit

Regular Radeon 9800 cards use a 256-bit bus. This card has less than half the memory bandwidth of regular 9800's.

Yeah I just changed it in my post... It didn't sound right to me either so I did some reasearch into it and it is indeed 380/340.

That looks legit. Going rate is about $200, and it's on sale for $180. And AFAIK, only Sapphire made 128-bit 9800Pros.

Now I noticed, apparently they named the crippled cards "Radeon 9800 pro EZ" which seems like an extenssion to the SE family, only with the pro version.
