Radeon 9800 pro+Question for DUAL SUPPORT

Does this video card include dual montior support. If so is it on the card itself or do it need a connector that cames with it.


Pls reply, this for a friends whos buying it but only if it has dual support.

Yes, it has dual monitor support. I'm not sure what you mean by "adapter". The ATI card has 2 ports, the second one being DVI. The card comes with the DVI-VGA adapter.

Okay, I dunno if you know about this site called anandtech, but they are very popular around these parts.

Now, once you go their, look at all the categories you can click on up top. Now, you have a question abou tthe 9800Pro, so hopefully you clicked on "video." Now, you're doing good so far, but now comes the tricky part, WHICH REVIEW to look at. I'll give you a hint, it's the seond from the top and has the name of the card in question in it.

Hopefully you ended up here. Now I know this is tough for you, but now you must wade through this review to find what you need. But if you're smart, you'll just look for some pictures, so head on to the second page.

Now, if you click on the first image on the second page you will see this. What is that you see? C'mon how many monitor connections are there? Huh? TWO?!

Amazing! There is your answer. You coulda just gone to ati's site directly to find that out.

That was fun. Anyways; the card has one VGA port and a DVI port, so you can have two monitors.
