Computer Specs:

XP Pro
MSI KT3 Motherboard
Athlon 2100+ o/c to 2.1Ghz
512MB PC2700
2x Seagate 60GB Barracuda IV
Antec True Power 430
ATI Radeon 9800 Pro (w/ Cat 3.10 and stock clock speeds)
SLK-800 w/ Panaflo L1A
2x Panaflo H1A Exhaust (top, rear)

I recently installed a bunch of new games on my PC and they all exhibit the same pattern and problem

Deus Ex : Invisible War
NFSU
Max Payne 2
Tiger Woods 2004 PGA Tour

After about an hour or so (not a constant time), the game simply crashes to the desktop. No error messages, no events in the event viewer, nothing. I'm leaning towards a cooling issue, but I just want to be sure before I do something about it. It happens on any setting for the game, 640, 1024, low detail, high detail, AA/AF off/on, x2, x1, etc

I have the latest DX9b drivers, Catalyst 3.10 and everything is updated. Same thing happened when I had Cat 3.6s as well.

CPU Temp when gaming never reaches 40C, case temp maxes out at 33C

It happens less often with Tiger Woods 2004, but I don't know why or if it's related at all, and I run that game at the highest res 1280x1024, max settings

I already ordered an Artic Cooling Silencer for my 9800 pro, but I just wanted to see if anyone else had this problem. And if so, why the stock cooling on the 9800 pro is so inadequate ??

Thanks in advance
