By using ATI tool tray i reached a core speed of 408.38 and a mem speed of 354.38. post ur overclock results so we can compare

(spoiler)

r9700pro = 410 core / 375 mem
(on air)

😀

Although, I'm using 405 on core now ...
(air conditioners not cooling to well in this heat)

loic2003 ... I'd be carefull with that OC ...

Even if your using H2O

what version of 9800pro do you guys have?. I here the ver. number r360 is capable of XT speeds. I'm buying one of these cards just so I can o/c it. My model is the Sapphire.

I had a r360 9800p, and it ran stable at 440/375 (Using a zalman vf700, heheh...). I got an x800 now, well see what this baby can do soon.

I used the 3D Rage Tweak, I got mine to a little above XT speeds. Did't push all the way so I don't what the max core/vid ram speeds are. So IIRC (am using a 6800GT now) it was 415/385. BTW, I had Samsung vid ram.

Got mine up to like 433/395 for a while...but it would crash in games after about 20 mins, so I just kept to XT speeds (412/365) and all is well.

I'm using one of those zalman heatpipe cooling jobbies but it seems ok. You're right though, I'm going to crack it down a couple of notches... I had a crash not so long ago

BBA w/ Arctic Cooling VGA Silencer rev 3... OCed at 430/365. It's been REALLY hot (100+) these last few weeks otherwise I'd push it a little higher. It's flashed to 423/356 and I give it a little extra push when I want to. I use the clocker built into the Omega Drivers. Is that any good? I know most people use a seperate tool but does anybody know if these are worse?
