Radeon 9800 pro Dual Monitor Set Up

I have a Radeon 9800 Pro vid card, (one VGA, one DVI, one S-Video). I want to hook up a second moniter. I purchased a DVI>VGA converter today. Can you please walk me through step by step how to set things up?

Other qeustions:

Can i run the moniters in two different resolutions?

When I play a game full screen, will it be effected by my mouse moving "off" the first screen?

How can I easily switch between using both and using just one?
