I just bought this card recently to replace my dying geforce 4 ti4600 and was wondering if anyone has encountered this problem. I've got two monitors a 19inch crt and a 17 inch lcd. My crt uses an analogue connection and the lcd uses the dvi. Whenever I boot up my machine the crt flickers like 3 times before booting into windows even though its on the analogue port. The lcd does the same thing on the dvi port which is kinda frustrating in my opinion. Also while using the catalyst drivers or the omega drivers if I try to change the antialiasing settings the crt just cuts off and will not come back on till I reboot. The lcd stays on but this is configured as my secondary display and no matter what setting I use in hydravision it doesn't help.
So I tried hooking up the crt to the dvi port using the converter and it booted without any flickers or anything all the settings worked. I couldn't find a standard vga cable to test out my lcd as well but got one from a friend gonna test it tonnight to see if it happens again, is it just me and a freaky incident, is it a jacked up card or will I have to live with the annoying flickering and not being able to use dual displays and any extra settings or is there a cure.

System config
P4 2.8c
Asus P4P800 Deluxe
Audigy 2 Platinum
Ati Radeon 9800 Pro
120gb wd hd
winxp sp1
Catalyst 4.7 and omega 2.5.58

Just a note to add in there this setup works flawlessly with my geforce 4 with dual dvi inputs no flickering nothing. Using an Lcd which goes to dvi and an analogue which gets converted to dvi.
