For some reason I can only receive the first 100 channels on my TV Tuner card. The channels should range from 0-500, however, the 0-100 channels are the only ones I can get ahold of.
Any channel not available you'll have to use the tuner from your STB and connect the output of the STB into the RCA/s-video input on the AIW (s-video preferably for the video).
Cables from outside connected to a splitter, which one end goes to my TV Tuner Card, the other end goes to my Cox Digital Cable Bow (which has another connector leading to my TV).
I get channels 0-500. Can you explain what I have to do to fix this?
Yea the reason why you dont see all 500 channels and only 100 is because the first 100 are analogue and the others are digital. The ATI tuners are still Analogue (except the HD Wonder which is still utterly useless because only for antenna) that support 125 analogue channels, your providers apparently only has 100 analogue channels and the rest are digital. For now you have to watch digital channels through your cable box but hopefully in the future (When the Gov't finally impletments DTV *I Think in 2005/2006
for all channels, they will sell tvs and computer tuners will be able to recieve digital channels.) Biggest problem with DTVs and recieving digital signals from cable is that the damn companies are too dumb to figure out how to get them to work together (Talked to a comcast rep about this and they said they had trouble setting up DTVs with comcast digital cable).
lol just because you have digital cable, doesn't mean EVERY SINGLE Channel is digital. The first 125 are analogue and the rest digital unless you dont have digital cable. You probably have a cable box which is why you can see it on your tv and not PC unless you hook up the cable box to the pc.

Yeah I have a cable box... But if I hook it up to the cable box, I won't be able to watch two different shows on the TV and PC, correct?
* Connect the AIW tuner to the cable before the STB (Set Top Box..from cable co) This will give you ONLY analog channels 1 thru 125.
* Connect the AIW purple thing to the STB using RCA (s-video for the video if you have it) This will give you whatever channel the STB is tuned to 1 thru 500.
* Connect your TV to the STB using coax, this will give you whatever channel you have the STB tuned to.
Obviously if you want to watch 2 different "digital" channels you will need 2 digital STB's from the cable Co.
