radeon 9800 NP recognized as Pro

I got a $200 Radeon 9800 during the black friday. Put it in - it is recognized by windows and 3dmark as a 9800 Pro. RivaTuner says the clock is that of a non-pro. i think it has infineon ram but i'm not quite sure...
sandra says video bios is 2095.848 dated 03/03/18 (i guess that's march 18th 2003) and the OEM Hardware ID is FUN_0, VEN_1002, DEV_4E48, REV_00
what gives??
 
The newer driver/bios sets don't list non-pro's like they used to with older drivers. Clock speeds confirm you have a non-Pro. Hopefully you have Samsung ram on-board.

but i guess it makes sense since the only different thing about the cards are the clock rates...

in order to confirm if you havfe infineon or samsung, just look on the physical board at the small squares

if it's samsung, it'll say samsung.. same with infineon
