Radeon 9700 To Ship Sept. 15 - Best Buy, Sept. 19 - EBGames

wfbberzerker wow thats a pretty long ways away. I thought the Radeon 9700 was going to ship in August. Guess not.
 
It would be real schweet if the Radeon 9700 and UT2003 shipped at the same time. I need a new card badly but I might wait it out. Does anyone know if an AMD XP 1900+ will scales nicely with the Radeon 9700?
 
well a 2.4 GHz p4 is the limiting factor.
so a 1900+ will also bea bottle nexck 😛

now now... drivers shouldnt be (as much of) a problem... preliminary benchmarks already show promising results.
 
Quite cool.

But I am *very* happy with my Radeon 8500 LE 128 MEG. It has been a great card (so far).
