Radeon 9700 Pro & X700

This may be a silly question but I have the Radeon 9700 Pro and was wondering how big of a performance hit am I getting compared to the X700 (both AGP cards). I tried to compare few benchmarks from Anandtech but they either don't test the card with a game or vice versa.

I think it is pretty close when the two are on the same resolution with AA/AF turned off. Would the 9700 be like 10-15 frames, on average, behind the X700?

not much. 10% maybe. 15% max.

I think the 9800 pro and the x700 are almost identical performers. In many tests, the 9800 pro performs faster, but only by 1 or 2 frames.... SO, if you look at 9800 pro reviews, you'd have a good idea on how it's going to perform versus an x700. Here's one: http://www.hardocp.com/article.html?art=NDM5
