Radeon 9700 Pro - what do I need software wise for the card?

Which drivers? Also, I heard you need some refresh rate or vsync fixes. Where can you download that and what else should you get?

Check rage3d.com for all ATI info you'd ever need.

get the latest catalyst drivers (2.3)

You're running Win 98, so you don't need refresh rate fixes. Those "features" )) are in Win 2k and Win XP.

at rage3d drivers 6193 for xp got rid of all my issues well all four of them lol

bf1942 was fixed already by catalyst drivers (2.3)
tribes two and harry potter and needforspeed hp2 are all working beautifully

i never had an issue with giants as some do

As far as software goes I recommend some RTCW with 6xFSAA and 16xAnsio...
