I recently purchased a new computer system. Specs:
P4 2.6 Ghz (533 FSB)
Asus P4PE motherboard
512 MB DDR 333
ATI Radeon 9700 Pro
3D games lock up now. On my old 1Ghz Athlon with a GeForce2 MX400 I didn't have these problems. I put a brand new installation of Windows 2000 on the system as well. Everquest and Neverwinter Nights both lock randomly. It could be 2 hours of play time, it could be thirty seconds before it locks. Any ideas, suggestions, possible BIOS tweaks?
