Radeon 9700 Pro refurbs at Newegg

$219 is great for a 9700 Pro, IF you don't plan on overclocking it. If you do plan on overclocking your card, spend $30 more to get a 9800np. After a simple BIOS flash you'll end up with a fully-fledged 9800Pro. Even if you (for some odd reason) don't flash the BIOS, you'll still get *slightly* more bang for the buck using an o/c'ed 9800np than an o/c'ed 9700Pro. Not to mention that the 9800 is new (though I personally have never had any problems with Newegg refurbs.)

this is probably because people with money get their 9800PRO 256mb or the FX5900 and the poor people are stuck with the 9100, or a GF3 Ti500 like me =(

but don't worry they will be gone soon enough. the hottest items are the cases
