Radeon 9700 Pro - how do I connect the cables correctly?

I don't understand.

With my older cards you just put the card in the slot and then connect the monitor to the fitting on the back. But in the manual it talks about putting cables on the power supply and hd? The included instructions aren't helpful.

Asus A7V33 mobo btw.

Plug in one of the 5v lines from the power supply to the card. Should be able to see where to plug it in from this picture.
