Radeon 9700 Pro AIW ---> DVD Question (Easy)

I just got a Radeon 9700 Pro AIW and I recorded a few commercial and crap from TV. I set it to DVD quality (Does setting it to default "DVD Quality" set the audio to 44KHz or 48KHz, which do I need?), and set all the video qualityies to the highest.

Now... to put them on a DVD, can I just use Nero or any other DVD authoring program to put them on a DVD? Do I have to do anymore conversion or any crap like that?

On a side note, what Authoring program do you recommend? (Easiest, drag and drop, chapter creation, chapter selection screens)
