Unless you want to void your warranty by putting an aftermarket fan and heatsink on it, then I would def RMA that card. With the fan going out you might as well if you can deal without having your card for a little while.

Mostly depends on if you want to fix it, or just send in for a repair. Whichever you are comfortable with.

i was thinking of putting the Zalmon Heatpipe on it :) would you think that would be a good replacement from the stock fan?

Thanks

Probly BUT my question now is

Would that zalmon heatsink / heatpipe cool my 9700 n/p which is overclocked ? or would i have to *declock* it as i am now going for a *SILENT* computer :) ( i know i could get water cooling BUT i dont have the money :()

I've seen a few reviews on it and it looks pretty good. I'm thinking of getting one myself.
