I just got a new radeon 9600XT for my bday (I know it isnt top of the line but I didnt want to ask for an expensive card for such an old computer.)
Anyway on the SMARTGART screen, it lists my AGP to only be working at 2x, and detect settings still only allows 2x.
On my bios I have it set to 4x AGP. I've downloaded the latest ATI drivers, and the latest via 4-1 drivers. I've also flashed my chipset bios to the latest version.
The motherboard is shuttle ak12A, and its running with a 1.2 athlon.
Any ideas or is it because of the crappy viachipset/motherboard combo?
