I'm having trouble with this card. when running both 3dmark 2001 and 2003 the computer freezes
at diferent times and i have to reboot. sometimes it reboots on it's own.
I have the latest via chipset drivers and ati 4.2 drivers. i'm not doing any
Overclocking at all. the computer is not overheating. air flow is good and the power
supply is fine. is it possible the 4.2 drivers are causing this. should i try older ones.
I'm running an XP2500 cpu, 764 megs of ddr400 ram on a msi kt4l motherboard.
My 9500 pro worked fine. all other non bench marking activities work fine.😕

Have you tried disabling Fast Writes in your BIOS? Have you tried the card in a different system? Did you use Driver Cleaner before installing the 9600XT and drivers? Have you tried setting the AGP Aperture to 128MB in the BIOS?

Did not use driver cleaner. bios is set up right. i do still have the drivers that came with the board
and the newer 4.2 on the computer. shoud 86 all the new ones and start from scratch.
Then update. if so where can i get driver cleaner.
