Ok, I've been running a KG7 for quite some time now and never really had to deal with stability after I did some bios tweaking. Here are my current specs:
ABIT KG7
Crucial 256MB PC2100
WD 20GB 7200rpm
WD 120GB 7200rpm
Pioneer DVD Drive
Geforce2 GTS 32MB
Aureal Vortex2 SuperQuad
Netgear FA310TX NIC
Antec TruPower 550w
Lian Li PC60 USB
I just ordered a Sapphire Radeon 9600 Pro card (doesn't have the external power connector) and wanted to know if this card will work. This board supposedly supports AGP4x ... but i'm not sure if this card will work properly, or at all. This is going to be a HTPC soon, so if i can get it stable ... i'd rather not upgrade the board, but would like decent gaming. It would be a waste to get a new board .... for what I'm using it for.
Anyone know if this combo is even possible???
