Radeon 9550, BIOS-modded to Radeon 9600 / Underclocked Pro

I'm one of those stupid guys (most of you here will think I am..) that buy *crappy* ATI underclocked-card-sold-as-some-card-that-is-labeled-up-with-some-misleading-model-numbers... Getting kind of bored.. I flashed it with Radeon 9600 Pro (GPU oc'ed to 440MHz, Mem underclocked to 229.50MHz DDR/460MHz) and voilla.. an overclocked Radeon 9600 (or should I say an underclocked but overclocked [??!?] Radeon 9600 Pro?) at R9550 price..

Radeon 9550 users should try this step to get most out of their card.. Do note that this VOIDS your card WARRANTY!! and i am not responsible for any of your actions..


BTW: Sorry nick1985... This card do *suck* to an extent... LOL

"Missclocked" is the word you are looking for. It would be a missclocked 9600PRO ... Btw, how do you flash it with a 9600PRO BIOS and underclock it? Does it mean it atleast boots with overclocked timings and has to be underclocked for full use or did you modify the 9600PRO BIOS for that?
