Radeon 9500np locking in 3D gaming

I have had the card for a couple years now and it has never given me problems up until a couple months ago ( I gave up gaming after child #3)
Every once in a while my kids want to play Halo or something else 3D and the card lasts for about 10-15 mins then the whole comp locks hard, I have a Artic Silencer on it turned up to high and my case is pretty cool.

BTW, I am using the standard Catalyst drivers now with no overclock.

Newer games like Halo stress the card a lot morethen older ones, so the card my have problems as a result.. a good example of this is my 6800GT, in Quake 3 I can overclock it well above Ultra levels to 421core/1180ddr but in a new game like FEAR the best I can do is 395core/1070ddr without locking up. Try clocking it down closer to default speeds, especially with the RAM & see if that helps.

Its probably fried or the HS has gotten loose.

Try removing the HSF and cleaning off/reapplying thermal paste to the GPU.
