What is the order of performance of the Radeon 9500 64mb (softmod to 9700), the Geforce 4 Ti 4200 128mb card, and the GeForce 4 Ti 4600 128mb card? Anyone been able to find real numbers on the ATI cards? I'm highly considering the GF 4200 but also thinking about the ATI 9500. Is the jump from GF 42 to 4600 worth the extra $30?

Well you cant without the L-Shaped Memory and the 128mb card.

The Geforce 4 will be a little slower. If you leave the 9500 unmodded. When modded however the 9700NP will obliterate it.

Just get a 9800Pro 9700Pro or 5900XT (used).

Well, those cards are about double my budget. I'm looking for a high-performance value card really. That's why I'm considering the 4200's and the 9500's. I kinda like the idea of the 9500 if it really is that much better modded. What is a reasonable range to look for them on Ebay? Also, what is the OpenGL support version and DirectX version for the 9500's?

I say 4200 for sure... You will want 128mb for games to day no question. Also I hear 4200's are good OCers. 9500 64mb wont get close to 9700pro performance...
