Odd situation--maybe you folks have experienced it before.

I'm currently using a radeon 9500 pro and it works very well..TOO WELL.

I've reached the slider limit of the overclock with the rage3d tweak tool. I'm at 373.50 and no artifacting so I have some room to go.

Ideas on how to get this to overclock more?

are you sure the BIOS is unlocked for overclocking? I installed Radclocker and it said it was setting the frequencies of my 9500Pro, but 3dMark said no change. It wasn't until I flashed the BIOS that I could truely overclock it and can't get near those speeds although partly due to heat.

You can change the settings in the registry. Or use RadClocker (radlinker) which lets you adjust it in the overclocking tab in display properties.

it was not unlocked originally but i flashed it with warp11's bios. I overclock now to 407/295 and get no artifacting at all. I can do 410/299, but some games get sparklies..
