VIDEO PROBLEM. Ok my story is that I had a broken motherboard. I think I it was the AGP slot or something cuz I couldn't get a damn image on the monitor. So I got new motherboard and I installed everything overclocked the CPU and everything is good now. Except for one thing. I'm running everything seems to be working fine. DVD playback is flawless. Splinter Cell and Warcraft 3 are also operational.
Only problem is that whenever I'm playing NOLF2 of Medal of Honor: AA I get skipping/video lag when I'm walking around. Not a tremendous one but a little skip every few seconds that drives me crazy. Now before you say its because I have a weak CPU/Vid card I'd say I tried the minimum settings as well as the on both games and the exact same problem occurs at the exact same frequency. I'm running a Athlon XP T'Bred B 2100+ at 2160 mhz, Radeon 9500 Pro, HyperX memory, and Asus A7N8x Mobo. Whats funny to me is that it doesn't occur to Splinter Cell and Warcraft but NOLF2 and MOH: AA. I can't seem to figure out what wrong and I'm afraid its the video card that busted due to abuse.
Things I have tried: I've tried messing with all the BIOS options. I've tried OCed and default settings for memory and CPU. Along with memory frequency and every other option in there but nothing had the effect of fixing it. When I tinkered too much w/ mem freq. I increased it but in the end the best setting was what it was @ before. I've also uninstalled and reinstalled Catalyst which didn't work. Tried all the refresh rates for monitor didn't work either. I've run 3dmark01 and 03 and have gotten decent scores for both. 12000+ and 3500+. So if any of you experts could figure out what the problem is it'd be most appreciated. Thanks alot guys!
