I posted earlier about my gainward geforce4 ti4200 having cooling problems. I talked to my brother and he suggested checking out for a new video card possibly since my warranty on the card may be voided. Has anyone used/tested a Radeon 9200? theyre only $50 on newegg and theyre pretty good, apparently.

They are actually 8500LEs which performed very well. It would seem to be the best bang-for-the-buck right now in my personal opinion.

It would be slower than what you have right now, you could always look into another ti4200 I guess, they're around 80 dollars, still one of the best low budget cards..
 
yeah they are pretty good. i think i saw a radeon 9500 for ~100 though. Unfortunately, my budget doesnt run that hight.. ill be lucky if i can even buy the 9200 (assuming my geforce cant be fixed).
