Well, the card is pretty slow. That shouldn't cause a blue screen, though. :D

I guess what my question is, Is there a driver out there that I can use? Or should I throw this card away?

OK, I went hunting to an old e-mail address and found it. Please switch to my new address.

You have Omega drivers on there. I have no idea how they've been hacked or used. Please put the latest official ATI drivers onto the machine - 4.9 is, IIRC, the latest. Remove the Omega drivers.

Remove RADCLOCK. It's a Radeon overclocking tool. If you're having any problems at all, you need to go back to square one and put on normal ATI drivers and remove *everything* else that would interfere with that.

I couldn't get your latest dump for some reason.... please re-send to my current e-mail account.

OK, now, what's the problem again? Give me some history. First, everything was fine. Then, you put on the ATI drivers (emphasis - *ATI* drivers, not Omega drivers) and it constantly BSODs? Can you ever boot normally, or do you always need to boot in safe mode to get running? I need much more information about what is or is not working.

This is ancient; I suggest updating it:

Module[ 95] [C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\DRIVERS\NAIFILTR.SYS]
Product Version: (6.0:0.0)
File Version: (6.0:0.100)
File Size (bytes): 23296
File Date: Wed Mar 13 08:50:36 2002

Anyway, let me know....

FYI:

AFS2K.sys issues

The AFS/AFS2k driver is a part of a CD Recording engine from Oak Technology, Inc., (now Zoran, Inc.), maintained by Simpli Software, Inc. This CD Recording engine is used in several software applications, including HP's Memory Disk creator which is included with some HP cameras and scanners. If you find that your computer is periodically hanging on startup due to the AFS2K.sys driver after installing the dc3000 software, it could be related to a bug in that driver that has since been fixed. You can get a new version of the AFS2K.sys driver at Simpli Software. In order to get your PC to not blue screen on startup, you may need to disconnect your optical drives until you upgrade the AFS2K driver.

___

I'd ask you to remove it, but I need to know more before I can do much. Can you give me another dump?

I guess the quick test, to see if that's your problem, is to disconnect your optical drive and then try to get the machine to dump. So, what, exactly, do you need to do to get the machine to dump?

(I've asked lots of questions - please work thru each of them in each post and let me know as best you can answers to all the questions.)
