I just installed a Radeon 9100 Graphics Card on my pc running win 2000.
This device, which is mounted on a pci slot, has been assigned IRQ 7 automatically by plug-n-play. According to mfr IRQ 10 or 11 is necessary for the device to function. No errors occured during driver installation (attempted twice). However the screen freezes during bootup. Switching the monitor to the onboard intel graphics adapter restores the display and pc works ok. There is no error in device mgr associated with the Radeon device. However there is an error displayed "ATI driver not loaded or the device is not functioning."
In device manager the manual change controls are greyed out, so how can I change IRQ?
