Radeon 9000 Pro reports AGP 2X on 4X system

Desktop->Settings->Advanced->Options->Details reports the following

Bus Type: AGP 1X,AGP 2X,AGP 4X
Current Bus Speed: AGP 2X

Powerstrip also reports AGP 2X. System is ASUS P3V4X with Via 694X Northbridge, AGP 4X enabled in BIOS and latest Via 4.20 4-in-1 Drivers installed. Does anyone know what registry keys enable AGP 4X???
