Radeon 9000 Pro Dual Monitors - No Display

I picked up a new in box Megaspeed Radeon 9000 Pro 128MB card the other day and have not been successful getting dual monitor to work. I can get single monitor to work on either the VGA or the DVI w/VGA adapter, but not both at once.

The setup is:

P3 800 on a Abit BX6 with 2x256MB Crucial SDRAM
Viewsonic PS790 19" CRT
Gateway POS 15" CRT

Windows XP SP1
ATI Catalyst 3.9 drivers

The symptoms are that during POST and Windows XP boot, both monitors will display, but as soon as it needs to draw the cursor and desktop, it will hang with a black screen. It made it to displaying Welcome once, but then went black.

I've scrubbed out the old nvidia drivers (previous vid card), and tried three different versions of ATI drivers. All result in the same behavior.

My previous setup was a Nvidia GeF2 400 for the Viewsonic, and a Matrox Millenia PCI for the Gateway.

Thanks for any suggestions on how to resolve this.

Mike
