Radeon 9000 Pro Driver Issue

Just curious, but I've had a Sapphire Radeon 9000 Pro for over a year now, and ever since the 4.6 Catalyst driver release I get artifacts on my screen and have to revert back to the 4.5's. I'ver tried every major driver release since May an they all do the same thing. Has anyone else with a similar card had the same problem?

No, I installed my 9800pro (BBA) in may, and have used the new drivers on the following games w/o probs:
Doom 3
Far cry
Rise of Nations
Warcraft 3 TFT

I'm cuurently using the cat 4.9's

Have you installed most recent drivers for your mobo (chipset)? Should do that if you haven't already.

Have you tried running Driver Cleaner or Driver Detonator to clear out driver fragments and then try new Cat. drivers again?
 
Hmm... I'just recently did a clean install w/ the addition of SP2, but I don't think I updated my mobo drivers. That's a good idea. Thanks.
