Anyone have a notebook with this GPU? Buddy is getting one from work (Dell e6540, i7 quad, 8GB, 8790m) and I'm trying to figure out how this thing will perform.
He could have gotten a newer, slimmer laptop with HD4000/4600 but he wants to play SC2, Dota 2 and some other not so demanding games so I suggested this as the only option available with our account with a decent GPU in it (excluding $2500 precision workstations with quadros/fires).
Really hard to find any real information on the thing though, TR did a review a few years ago that looked OK.
Heres the chip -- should handle SC2 and Dota fine right?
