Does anybody know if there is a power plug on the board itself??? I see a plug that looks like a power plug for a 1.44mb floppy...I wonder if that would help the firewire issues if indeed it was to power source that....


It doesn't in my opinion look like a audio in or for a daughter card for dual monitor support plug...
 
bump....anybody??? I can't find board specs even showing it on the board , but it is definitley there...

It is 4 pin so it isn't a fan header as far as I can tell...Could it be a header to send temp info and fan info to the motherboard???
 
There is a 4 pin floppy-style power connector on the board and it is for powering the firewire port.
