Radeon 8500 with XP?!

How well does the 8500 perform in XP, I have heard the W2K/XP drivers are crap.

I know, this has been discussed quite often, but with overclockability, drivers and visuals in the latest DX7 and the fortcoming SX8 games, would you choose a 8500 or a TI200?

Any real world experience would also be greatly appreciated!!!

Go over to Rage3d and hit the 8500 forums. Depends on who you talk to. Some people have no problems with the drivers... others do. I think the biggest issue is that a lot of people switch cards and don't remove the previous hardware profile in the OS and the registry entries.

The end result is conflicts.
