radeon 8500 problem

Alright I was running my Radeon 8500 with the 3276 drivers, and when I played CS I got 100 FPS. Then I formatted, reinstalled, and now using the same drivers with the SAME settings I get 60 fps...any idea why?

Install every update,patch,DX8+,chipset drivers ect.?
Bios changes?
Obscure video card settings change?

I had the same problem with my ATI Radeon ViVo.. Try going to www.glsetup.com and downloading the drivers there... I was very pleased with the results

Have you set the games max_fps to a higher value yet????

Don't forget to turn off V-sync. That's probably why it's sitting at 60FPS (same as mon refresh rate)
