If anyone can tell me the differences besides software bundles and price, I'd be grateful. Just don't know if clock speeds differ or if you need anything that the retail provides that the oem wont (DVI to VGA adapter!?).

Thanks

The OEM doesnt have the fancy box and all of the software, it all doesnt have the DVI to VGA adapter (usually, some retailers do sell the adapter with the OEM card), the clockspeed is lowered from 275/275 to 250/250 in OEM.

Technically their not doing the clockspeed game with the Radeon 8500, as all OEM R8500 chips sold by ATi are branded as the Radeon 8500LE to differentiate with the faster clocked retail 8500. Unfortunately, some vendors are disregarding that and simply calling it a Radeon 8500 and omitting the "LE" .

The R8500 is extremely overclockable though, and many people have the OEM R8500 running up to and over 300/300.
