Ok before I installed this new video card in my PC, my HP 932c worked fine, the drivers were fine, it printed in everything fine, now im screwed it seems. In Microsoft Word and now other things, when I go to print, it will print for like 3 seconds, then my mouse will stop moving, and the whole cpu will freeze it seems, the printer will then show me an error message about it failing to print, i cant move the mouse, i use the keyboard, (ctrl-alt-del) to get to the control thing, Im in windows xp, and using Alt-F, am able to scroll over the the restart command and hit enter, and then on bootup, the printer starts working again and prints the document out. Its very weird, and for some reason, I know this is because of the new video card. What else? I installed the drivers over for the printer, and I know there the newest, and I still get the problem. The video card also has the newest OFFICIAL drivers, Im not too sure if I should roll with the UNOFFICIAL ones yet. But can someone please help me on why this is going on?

I've never heard of a video card installation screwing up a printer... but have you tried taking the card out, replacing it with another video card, and seeing if the printer is still screwed up?

well... in the process of bumping ur own thread... did u try LuDaCriS66's suggestion? i have never heard of a video driver messing up a printer either. if you're so sure its the video card (drivers), then why don't u just give the newest unofficial drivers a shot?
