Radeon 8500 LE.TV out confusion. Help??

I've just picked up a Radeon 8500 LE, and I've got it SVideo'd to my Tv at home. I'm running the Monitor here a 17" at 1600x1200, and the TV at 800x600, the desktop appears on the Tv, and I can see everything EXCEPT video. Now I got video to work for a little while, but never again. I'm confused on the settings for the video out.

Do the resolutions have to be the same on the monitor and on the TV? I didn't think so. What settings do I have to change?

Also is there a program to overclock the little 8500LE? So far I'm very pleased but I can't watch Video on my tv. The player opens on the screen but nothing happens.

I have no idea what the problem is. Someone enlighten me? None of the documentation seems to say anything. I can make it send my desktop over to the tv, but thats not what I want.

Let me know if I left out some info. Lets try to get some videos on my TV?!

I had the same problem on my card. DVD's worked on the TV, but everything else just had a black screen instead of video. Thanks to this forum, I figured it out, and the output looks beautiful. Go to your video card's advanced settings, click on the overlays tab, and enable theatre mode. Good luck .
