Radeon 8500/LE to 9100 performance gain?

Yes..yes, they are the same product.
Hmm.....except 9100 add "Fullstream" into their BIOS.

I have force BIOS flash my (48k) 8500/64M to (52k) 9100 for couple days now. (290/290/syn TV-out disable) Everything running perfectly w/ Onboard TV constantly on, UT2003 for couple hours...etc..etc.

Although, cable TV quality seems to improve, but, I like to know if FullStream really makes DVD looks better? (I don't have DVD drive)

Yes and no.


I flashed & my 3dmark scores when down a bit,but now I can oc the ram a good 25mhz more than I could before.

so because I can oc more yes there's a gain.

Before my Samsung 5ns ram with 8500LE bios could do no better than 250mhz,now i can do 275mhz easy with the 9100 bios.
