Radeon 8500 fan dying...what to replace it with?

My Radeon 8500's fan is making all sorts of ugly sounds. It is removeable; all you have to do is unscrew the fan. I'm not having any luck finding a replacement fan, though -- looks like it is 20mm -- does anyone know where I can buy one?

Vantec Iceberq Copper, or Iceberq4 (measure the distance between mounting holes on the Radeon 8500 - the Iceberq Copper has more closely spaced holes).. I have one of each - an Iceberq on my motherboard northbridge, and an Iceberq4 on my Radeon 9800 Pro.

Whatever you do, clean the GPU and bottom of your HSF with rubbing alcohol, and use high quality heatsink compound, such as Arctic Silver III.

Another worthwhile alternative is the Zalman HP-80. It's more expensive ($25), and it's a hunk'o'aluminum, and it'll take you a half hour to put together, but it will cool your Radeon very well without the use of a fan at all. Guaranteed to outlast your video card 🙂

So I have to remove the heatsink as well? I don't o/c the card, or play many games, or anything like that. Ran it for a while without the fan but don't want to do permanent damage. 🙁

If you can find just about any ATI card with that type of fan use one of those. A friend of mine had the same problem with his 8500LE, just swapped fans with my PCI Radeon
