I have a Apllo Radeon 8500 64MB that seems to be bitting the cake. I've even started to be seing artifacts in webpages :( Anyway, before I get into further detail...

AMD XP 1700+
Crucial 2700 512MB 6-3-3-2
Soltek FRN 75 L
WD 40GB SE
XP Pro SP1 (Updated)

Anyway, with some certain games namely games that use the UT2k3 engine my moniter goes blank and the game will still play in the back round for a second but will freeze. When I restart my computer I get a long beep and stops for barley a half a second then countines the beep. I must turn the computer off to get video again. The ram on the card is EWST or something to that name, which is most likely the problem. Here is the error logfile

Anyone know if I can overvolt the ram and see if this would fix the problem until I get a new card?

Your video card is probably not bad.

Here is a very lengthy article on the infinite loop error.

Here is what ATI has to say about it.

Don't blame your Radeon just yet.

I'll see what I can do. BTW the PowerSupply is a Antec 350 TruBlue.
