Radeon 8500 128MB 3Dmarks?!

Is it possible to get 3000 3Dmark03 3dmarks with a radeon 8500 128MB with standard clocks? A friend says he has one that does this, but he also tends to be a little exagerative, is it possible to get a 8500 WITHOUT overclocking to 3000 3dmark 03 marks, on any system at all? He had an athlon xp 1600 and a via kt333, with 256mb of ram? I fiond this hard to belive, is it possible?

Bs. You'd be hard pressed to get 2k on an 8500 with a good overclock, let alone one with no overclock.

i have to agree with modedepe. a 8500 is slightly slower than a 4200 so i dont see it getting 3000 marks
