Hi guys. Planning to get Diablo3 soon. Having to buy the game + get a new graphics card (current is a 7600GT 256GDR3 RAM), I am pretty much cash strapped...

My choice for my budget (~$120, not more please) has been stopped on the 7750. There is also the 6770 (which performs slightly better) at the same price range.

Screen resolution is 1920x1080 on a 22 incher.
I value low power consumption/silent GPUs.
I have a preference for the 7750 as it is a 'never' chip

Will 7750 be able to handle Diablo3 fine or get the 6770? Or you guys have any other options in the NVIDIA range of cards in this price range?

I would get the 6770 if its faster. The 7750 doesnt add enough new features for it to be worth it. It reduces power consumption, sure, but its not like the 6770 is particularly thirsty either.

What psu do you have because if you can squeeze an extra 30 bucks.. the 6850 is the best choice

USPS Global Express Guaranteed $240.35
UPS Worldwide Saver $129.96
USPS Express Mail International $71.93

Get whatever card is cheaper. You can always mod its acoustics. Used 6850/6870, probably be best.

The Ultimates are costly and you would still want active cooling inside your case.

Yeah I figured that...No performance gains on the 7750 ultimate....I also use GPU tuner to tune down my card/fan to a very low level when not doing GPU intensive tasks. I'll try to get my hands on a 6850 2nd hand, else 7750. No real alternatives...

6850/6870 use advanced voltage regulators, you should be able to control your voltages easily, software or bios mod. I believe, 7750 is limited in this area.
