Dear Sirs,

I have the above system setup, with an Athon 1800XP CPU. I found that I have no problems if I use my old matrox card but when I try and install my new Radeon, it's fine when in standard VGA mode. But, when I installed the drivers, the system just tries to reboot and hangs. I downloaded the latest drivers from the website and I have the latest bios version from ECS.

Please can someone help. Thankyou in advance.

Kind Regards,

San

Hi, On Matrox's web site, under Utilities, there is an Powerdesk uninstaller that removes any Matrox card files:

Maybe this will help. If not go into the registry and clean out those bad boys; but you have to know what you're doing when you mess with the registry. Could be bad, so wait for some registry expert to advise you before touching that. :-(
