I got my Radeon 7200 yesterday and installed into win 2000 very easily with the cd , looks great so far. This am I went to ATI website and found there were new drivers for this card. The ver on cd is 3102b and the new one on the site is ver 3276. Well after installing the new driver win 2000 would only boot into a black screen. I did a safe mode uninstall and used the CD to reinstall. Any idea what this is? I have often had problems with web site drivers for my video cards. Are these new drivers any good? If you are not having problems is it worth it to upgrade? Thanks

I had issues when using the winblows update drivers for my 64 sdr/7200. I used the oens on the cd, went to the update site, and got the new ones. I rebooted, and the comp sat there with the ghyey hour glass there. I restarted in safe mode, removed them, and put the old ones back. I tried this about 3 or 4 times and did 2 fresh formats/re-installs. I would not recommend them drivers to anyone. They sucked. Use the ones on the cd. I did not notice anything wrong with the old drivers.

<< damn, I thought ATI's driver issues were growing extinct.:( >>

That was a while ago, like aug. when I had probs, some people have said they got them working, but win2k just sat there doing nothing, I left it on overnite to see, and it sat there all night:(
