Is there a version of the Radeon 64Mb card that has all of the following:

dual ouput (to monitor and television)
video-in/video-out
video capture from television
dvd output to television or monitor
coaxial connector to connect cable directly to the card

if no coax is available, how does one use the card as a vcr? is it through s-video directly from the tv? or from the cable box? or something else...?

also, is video captured in this fashion of good quality (ie. better than a vcr in terms of picture quality, if coming from cable tv or satellite) ?

is this card worth it overall, or would it be better to get a matrox G450 and a daughter-card to do the digital vcr functions (aside from the fact that it would save me a slot on the mobo that i could use for a second audio card (most likely the DAL CardD+ or some other high-end card...)

thanks for any input.

that's just it, you can't use this thing as a vcr. it doesn't even have a tv tuner.

hmm... i think i read too much into the "full-motion video capture" but you're right, there is no tv-tuner functionality.

but it seems that the Radeon AIW has all the features i mentioned in my original post, but is only a 32Mb card as opposed to a 64Mb card... how is the AIW for quality, as opposed to the 64DDR or the matrox G450 with an added tv-tuner card...?

also, what resolution does the VCR-function of the Radeon AIW record in? what is the maximum resolution available..? is it the same as the 720x480 of the video capture?

Use composite or S-video for your video input if you want to record something. Maybe somebody said that already....
