Hello. I'm building my first computer and ran into a problem at the very end. I'm trying to fit my Radeon 5830 into a Gigabyte 790XT motherboard within a NXZT Lexa S case.
Technically speaking, everything should fit. The motherboard is secured with 9 screws, the sound card is flush with the board and installed with ease. The video card however, will not fit properly. The back end connectors go in first no matter how much I try and balance out the pressure I put on the card. This makes the front connectors wiggle up just enough that a connection can't be made, which also brings it out of alignment with the case. Here's a pic if it helps:
So I thought to step away before I blow a gasket and ask you fine folks what could be wrong here. If nothing else, I'd like to know which of the three components is the problem.
