I just received my Powercolor AX5770. It's a 5770 but it has the same length PCB as the 5750. This makes it very convenient for my HTPC.

What's the benefit of a longer board? Cooling? Overclocking? Showing off?

Just curious.

As the above poster stated a shorter board will cost lest to manufacturer and every dollar counts to a vendor.

All the 5770's are relatively the same with the exception that a few use memory from Hynix which tends to overclock slightly better than the samsung. The overclock difference is negligible though at higher resolutions.

Enjoy your 5770 I have one myself.

If you have a Sapphire Vapor-X Run GPU-Z to make sure you have all 800 shaders running or you need a bios update.
